In the tract, we mention that the Bible says that the wages of sin is death (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=rom+6%3A23&version=NKJV.) This is because everything that we do has consequences. The consequence of our sinning is supposed to be our death.

God loves you so much that He sent His only son, Jesus, to pay those wages for us. Jesus is the only person who ever lived, who was totally without sin. Because of this, He is the only person who could pay for your sins for you. He, who was totally innocent, accepted death to pay your wages for you.

As that tract says, at the end: the Letter to the Romans continues with: “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Please, accept God’s gift to you. Others may say that this is a free gift, but remember that this free gift was extremely expensive; it cost God the life of His only Son. Let Jesus’ death cover your sins, so that you may appear perfect to God the Father.
